Sometimes you can afford to buy a cool gift for somebody, but feel like gift wrapper or gift bag is a rip-off. Finding a nice gift bag can cause you up to $7.50 or more. Problem is, we want our loved ones be pleased with a gift-wrap as well. After all, it’s their special day, so why not make special what you are giving to them?
Let’s start. Here are what you need to build that good-lookin’ gift bag:
Cheap (and make sure it is durable enough to hold a breakable gift) gift bag. We got one at only $2.00. but if you want cheaper, the dollar store has a lot to offer (we did not have enough time to go there).
Glue
Printed papers
Scissor
How to:
Your butterfly sizes may vary as you wish. You don’t really need a butterfly pattern. Fold a piece of printed paper and starting on the folded part (about 1/2 to 1 inch away from the middle), cut an imaginary shape of one side of then butterfly wings returning the cut 1/2 to 1” away from the middle of the folded part.
Spread the paper. You should now have a nicely cut butterfly. Now fold the wings in with right side facing each other. This should make it look like a better butterfly.
Wrap the gift with paper or put it in a box, then place this in the gift bag. Now glue the butterflies on the outer wrapping of the gift. You may even do this to the gift bag too.
Whatcha think?
