My 5-year old kid and I enjoyed doing this. I was the cutter, she was the ‘paster’. That’s the nowhere-to-be-found, her fancy way of saying – “Let me paste all the parts together.”
Here are what you need:
Foam Sheets
Anti-wrinkle glue or any crafter’s glue
Scissor
Patterns
2 Old and empty tissue box
stick-on Velcro
decorative scissors
First, make a pattern using an empty tissue box. Follow the following diagrams below:
Applying your finished pattern to the future tissue box cover:
This is how it looks like after:
Make a box belt (as show from the photo right above).
· Using a tape measure, get the measurement around the tissue box, and add extra 4” length. The width of the belt would be about 3 inches. Accessorize the belt to your liking. Decorative scissors make a difference.
· To add a bunny accessory made out of foam sheets, you may download the pattern below:
See? It was fun and easy to make with kids.
Just remember, adult supervision required when playing around with scissors.
Now Easter may be over, but not the job of this beauty. Now I completely removed the top of the emptied tissue box and put it back inside this tissue cover so we could re-use it for our Lost and Found craps:)
Hairclip in that bunny was not part of the plan, but my smart toddler decided to be tidy and keep her hairclip there. Now it looks prettier:)
It's also a card keeper. Thanks Kohls:)
