Description
No matter what the situation is, my husband loves it when broccoli is soft but still in shape. Well, who would have thought that soft broccoli stir-fried is as delectable as it is crunchy? Soft or crunchy, this recipe will bring you there.
Ingredients
Instructions
Boil about 1 liter of tap water in a pot. Add in broccoli florets. Allow to cook until soft (as desired). Shorter time if you want your cauliflower still crisp. Test doneness by poking a floret with fork. Remove from heat, place in a strainer to drain and set aside. If choosing a crispier cauliflower, place the cooked one in iced water. Remove when cooled and placed in a strainer to have the water drained.
Mix together sauce and beef. Marinade for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
Heat a wok over medium to high heat. Add in oil and swirl to evenly distribute in the bottom of the pan. When hot but not smoking, add in meat. Sauté until it just turned light brown. Add in prepared broccoli. Sauté more until liquid is reduced in half or more.
That’s it. Enjoy!
