Description
Here's a simple recipe that would delight your day. So easy to make, so delectable to any of your sweet bakes!
Ingredients
1 c
fresh or frozen blue berry 1⁄2 c
fresh or frozen raspberry 1 c
dry red wine 3⁄4 c
white sugar (or moscuvado sugar) 3 t
tap water 1 1⁄2 T
corn starch (more if you want it thicker) 1 1⁄2 t
almond extract (optional)Instructions
Mix together all the first four ingredients in a saucepan. Heat over low-medium heat, constantly stirring until sugar is melted. Let simmer for 5 more minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together tap water and cornstarch to incorporate well. Pour gradually over the simmering sauce while constantly stirring. Continue stirring until mixture thickens. Do not over-cook. Remove from heat and stir in almond extract.
